Somerville's House in Burntisland
Plaque over the door of the Somerville family house in Burntisland, Fife
Views of the front and back of the house
In one of her letters, Mary Somerville referred to paintings on the balcony of Burntisland Church. After this reference was noticed the brown varnish was cleaned off and the forgotten paintings have been restored. They show badges of the various guilds in the town.
