Farnborough, Surrey

Is the site of the Royal Aircraft Establishment. Abraham Robinson worked here during the war. It is also the site of the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency, where a new building is named for Arthur C. Clarke, who opened it by satellite in March 1997.
