International Congresses of Mathematicians

The series of International Congresses of Mathematicians began in Zürich, in 1897 following a so-called International Mathematical Congress held in Chicago four years before. Except for the war years the congresses have been held about every four years since. We have detailed reports of the Congresses from 1893 to 1990 below.
