Jack de Wet

Jack de Wet was South African applied mathematician whose 1940 thesis from Princeton is considered 15 years ahead of its time. He spent most of his career as a mathematics tutor and lecturer at Oxford University. He also played a major role in determining the method of research funding of universities in South Africa.
