The secretary reported that a special meeting of the committee had been held, and it was agreed to issue a supplement to the Proceedings, as professor Gibson had suggested at the previous meeting. It was to be called "Mathematical Notes, a review of elementary mathematics and science, published by the Edinburgh Mathematical Society", and it would be issued at stated intervals. Peter Pinkerton was appointed Editor of the new publication.
