Meeting of Friday 9 March 1923

Location: Edinburgh University

Chair: Ramsay, Peter

Elected:
Childs, C B
Gabbatt, J P

A discussion on the teaching of elementary geometry was opened by Arthur John Pressland. The Assistant Master's Association had appointed a special committee to try to arrive at a scheme of geometrical sequence that might be generally acceptable. Mr Pressland explained why they had done this and recommended that the society should adopt this schedule.

It was agreed to hold the meetings on the first Friday of the month, instead of the second, except in January. This change would apply from next sesson onwards.
