Mathematical Gazetteer of the British Isles

Joseph Larmor was Professor of Natural Philosophy at Queen's College, Galway, in 1880-1885. The National University of Ireland at Galway has a lecture theatre named after Larmor. It also has one named after the professor of Greek D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson, the father of the mathematician D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson.
