Mathematical Gazetteer of the British Isles

In Hadstock churchyard, Essex, is the grave of Michael Ayrton, modern sculptor and writer who was fascinated by the Minotaur myth. He designed and built a brick walled labyrinth in Arkville, New York. His tombstone here has a bronze model of the maze.
