Popular biographies 2018

Of our nearly 2800 biographies, those below are the 200 which were consulted most often in the last three months.

These numbers were compiled in March 2018.

The biographies at the top of the list were each accessed up to about 400 times per day, while those near the 200th place were accessed about 20 times per day.

The number in [brackets] was the position last time we carried out this exercise for only the top 100 in 2009 (See THIS LINK).

The biggest improvement was from Avicenna who came from outside the top 100 up to 32nd . Wiles came back into the top 100 and Erdős come up to 38.

Artists were big losers: Dürer dropped from 33rd to 158th and Leonardo da Vinci went from 15th to 121st . Hubble went from 75th to outside the top 200.
